We the Spanish club organizes different events:

- Movie night with movies from all the Spanish speaking countries

-Tango/salsa evening with refreshments and snacks

- Hispanic People have come from the community to speak about their countries

- Spanish speaking evenings

Welcome to the brand new VIU Spanish Club blog! We will be posting updates on events on this page and if you would like to subscribe to receive emails about these events, simply leave your email in the left hand column! We are excited about the events we have coming up and hope to see lots of you out! So far this year we have shown 2 of a 3 part movie series titled 'Que Pena Tu Vida' and 'Que Pena Tu Boda', two hilarious movies that show the Spanish culture.  All movies we show have English subtitles and we encourage people of all levels of Spanish-speaking abilities to come out!
